Today was the most exciting adventure, by far!
We woke up pretty late again - around 9ish, We left around 10 to get to a bus stop, and it took us about an hour to finally get to the Lava Tube Cave that's famous in Jeju:
We took a ride with this couple in a taxi because we didn't know the bus stop was 2.4km from the actual entrance to the Lava Cave place. They were nice and talked to us for a bit before we decided to go to a restaurant which was before the Cave entrance.
I could only get udon, but I haven't had it since my first plane ride so, it was pretty good, Meghan got some kimbab.
These are cool pics from going inside the Lava Cave:
Everything was so interesting to see! It's amazing what nature can do.
After that we took a taxi to the U-do ferry that takes us to this small island called U-do (Means Cow).
I thought I was going to get a bit seasick but we were more captivated by the view!
This is Meghan trying to do a selfie on a ferry!
When we finally got to the island, we wanted to ride the ATV's but we only could if we had an international license which, sadly, we didn't. We had to get bicycles but that was fine.
The view was magnificent; it takes an hour to get around the island, but we had to stop and take pictures all around!!
We went to a small cafe to take a break because, WOW, did our bikes not like us. Giving us alot of ache and pains -___-" We got some smoothies but they weren't very tasty.
We headed off and got more pictures again.
We went to another cafe that sold peanut Bing-su and that's what U-do is famous for. Took some pictures of the nearby beach as well.
After an exhausting ride around the island, we got back in time to catch the next ferry.
We took a taxi to one of the 7 natures of the world, Sunrise Peak.
We originally wanted to watch the sunrise there, but it was cloudy when we wanted to go, so we decided to just watch the sunset instead.
You guys have no idea how tired we were already from the bike ride, so the fact that we climbed all these stairs is a feat in itself.
I had no hair tie, so I had to make do with tape lol.
Us, finally at the top to watch the sunset.
Ugh, stairs going down.
I was so tired and hungry by the end. I hardly have any memory as to what I ate beside the pictures I have.
We got to the host house so late but all in all, today was one of our best trips .
