Today was a very uneventful day, really. Meghan and I got a ride from our host who took us to Gimhae Airport.
First thing we saw when we got there:
We went to eat breakfast at Dunkin Donuts since we were too busy back at the house to really eat anything. Meghan got a muffin, while I got a donut:
There was a hot chocolate machine that I put coins in to try out. It was interesting that it made it for me, but it didn't really taste that good or anything.
Our flight to Jeju was delayed a bit but we actually got there on the time we were suppose to. The captain went faster to catch up due to the time delay. When we got out of the plane, I was surprised that we weren't going straight to the airport but had to take a bus to get there. It's probably normal to other people but I hardly taken that many planes to actually know.
We took the bus route that our new host told us to, and we didn't get lost, but by the time we reached the family's apartment we were pretty tired from all the looking around.
It's a nice, comfortable place with AC and a futon, so we chill-axed for awhile before heading out to see around Jeju and get something to eat.
The neighborhood was pretty nice and we got to look around the many cafes:
We finally ended up at a Vietnamese restaurant and had some seafood hot pot. The waitress was pretty nice putting it in the pot for us because, like the grilled clams, I think we were suppose to do it ourselves.
There literally was so much octopus and squid in it, I couldn't finish and we were pretty full. We were about to pay but the waitress was like 'Wait' and she took out most of the soup we used to cook the seafood and put rice and egg in it instead. It was good and being already full, we wanted to calm down our appetites for a bit before getting some bing-su again, hehe.
We went to this cafe for a couple hours before finally have our fav: mango bing-su! It even had ice cream on it. Yum~
I know, I know, but hey it's like our go-to desert over here.
We left the cafe around 5 to go back to the apartment and slept most of the evening and night away. As I said we didn't do much but traveling gets to you, yo.
