Day 15 - Traveling Part 4

Heyyyy

Today was a bit exciting day as I'll be visiting my family in Malaysia!

We called a service bus to pick us up from Riko's house to drop us off at Osaka airport. It was a two hour trip and we mostly just took in the view.

Sadly, we generally didn't take many pics today. This will be just me mostly describing what happened.

We finally arrived at Osaka airport with mostly our carry-ons and we were also happy that Riko's fam helped out to send  Meghan's big luggage bag to Tokyo for us. It was a huge help because, GOSH, did we carry a lot of stuff.

I had to call my uncle as he was in a traffic jam so we just waited and looked around the airport for a bit. Didn't know they had a Famous Amos store; sadly, I didn't get a picture of it.

Meghan went to a convenience store and bought some Malay snacks. I was brooding on the side:

My Uncle and Aunt came with their three kids (all boys) and were of course surprised by our abundant baggage. This was minus the purple big bag Meghan had; she called a service in Kyoto with the help of Riko's family to send it to Toyo University for her, so one less bag to carry. It wasn't expensive at all, surprisingly.

From the airport, you could see the sunset and it was literally breathtaking to take in. Again, didn't take a pic, sorry!

My Uncle went around the city in the car, showing Meghan what was what. We were picked up at the Kuala Lumpur Airport but they lived in Putrajaya, a 20 minute drive away. Even I forgot the sites since it's been around 6 years since I've last been to Malaysia. We looked around a bit before finding a restaurant place to eat. Meghan and I got curry while my Uncle's family mostly ate Roti Canai.

It's been awhile for me but Malaysia is known for eating with our hands so that's what I did.

Afterwords, we looked around the city a bit again before heading to their house. We had our own room and own beds too.

We ate some crab before we went off to bed:

My cousin playing around.

That was about it for this day; not very eventful, but it was a nice day to enjoy.
